| Job Description: |
CardioComm Solutions, Inc. is looking for a full time Intermediate to Senior Software Developer to add to our core technology team. This will involve work with our industry leading Global ECG Management System (GEMS). GEMS is installed with over 500 customers internationally, primarily in North America. CardioComm Solutions, Inc. is currently increasing the distribution of the GEMS line.
The vision for the product line is to complete several projects currently on the books and to then move forward with an upgrade for the whole platform.
The successful applicant will join the development team on the GEMS product line and take an active role in preparing and implementing the migration plan of the code to a newer platform and technology.

| Key Responsibilities: |
· Redesign and development of current desktop application in .NET
· Developing and maintaining current VB code base
· Creating specifications and design documents as well as code documentation.
· Assisting customer support in troubleshooting and investigation of on-site issues.

| Essential Qualifications: |
· 3 or more years experience in related development and knowledge of current platforms such as .NET · Experience with Visual Basic 6 · Experience in analysis, design and development of applications using the technologies described. · Bachelor degree of Engineering or Computer Science; or technical diploma. Equivalent work experience will also be considered. · Excellent troubleshooting and problem solving skills. · Good verbal and written communication skills. · Ability to multitask and adjust to changing priorities. · Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

CardioComm Solutions is seeking an attentive and innovative Customer Support Representative to add to our Customer Support team. CardioComm specializes in medical software applications sold to healthcare and research organizations around the world.
This position is responsible for interfacing with existing or potential customers and distributors. This will include developing and maintaining a positive customer relation and ensuring that customer requests are handled appropriately and in a timely manner. You will be working with a team of Customer Support and Sales Representatives to provide consistent quality service to customers. Candidate will be reporting to the Customer Service Manager based in Victoria, British Columbia.

| Experience / Responsibilities: |
· Provide Customer end-user and technical support in various customer settings and environments.
· Provide email, remote desktop connection, and telephone support to customer base.
· Must be able to be on call 24 x 7 to provide after hour support.
· Diagnose and resolve end-user and technical problems in timely manner.
· Assist in the continued development and improvement of CardioComm products and procedures.
· Clear, concise and confident verbal and written communication skills - must be fluent in English
· Must have prior customer support experience, preferably in a high tech setting
· Candidate can work as part of team or on their own as required by the task
· Competent in multitasking and juggling priorities
· Understanding of Microsoft Operating systems and Internet Explorer
