CardioComm Solutions, Inc. is looking for a full time Intermediate to Senior Software Developer to add to our core technology team. This will involve work with our industry leading Global ECG Management System (GEMS). GEMS is installed with over 500 customers internationally, primarily in North America. CardioComm Solutions, Inc. is currently increasing the distribution of the GEMS line.
The vision for the product line is to complete several projects currently on the books and to then move forward with an upgrade for the whole platform.
The successful applicant will join the development team on the GEMS product line and take an active role in preparing and implementing the migration plan of the code to a newer platform and technology.

As the ECG management developer you are responsible for development and maintenance of our proprietary real time ECG (electrocardiogram) acquisition, storage and presentation system (Guava). You are comfortable developing in C/C++, and are well versed in newer .Net technologies. Your skill set allows you to easily identify areas of the product that should be transitioned to newer technologies as well as those best left in more traditional technologies.
You are responsible for developing interoperability components, converters, to facilitate the translation of our ECG format (gvx) to and from other formats such as MIT, SCP, FDA Xml, and ECG Xml.
You possess the necessary knowledge and skills to develop the digital filters needed to clean and manipulate the ECG data in order to make the resulting signals easier for technicians and cardiologists to analyze.
You are experienced with the visualization of digital signals in a graphical form. You will use these skills while developing and maintaining the ECG viewer; our custom control for viewing, manipulating and editing ECG signals.
Guava acquires signals from a variety of recording devices. To this end you will work closely with device manufacturers as new devices become available to develop the drivers (translators) necessary for Guava to receive the signals from these devices.
