Technical Support Representative

CardioComm Solutions is seeking an attentive and innovative Technical Support Representative to add to our Customer Support and Quality Assurance team. CardioComm specializes in medical software applications sold to healthcare and research organizations around the world.
This position will be responsible for interfacing with existing or potential customers and distributors. This will include developing and maintaining a positive customer relation and ensuring that customer requests are handled appropriately and in a timely manner. You will be working with a team of Customer Support and Sales Representatives to provide consistent quality service to customers. The successful applicant will also play a critical role in the Quality Assurance and Quality System team to ensure a high level of quality within our software product line. You are an enthusiastic person, proficient in test methods and problem solving, and capable of learning new products & technologies quickly.
This Candidate will be reporting to the Director of Customer Support and Quality Assurance and this position will be based in Victoria, British Columbia.
• Provide Customer end-user and Technical support in various customer settings and environments.
• Must be willing to be able to be on call 24 x 7, on a pager rotation to provide after hours product support.
• Provide email, remote desktop connection, and telephone support to customer base.
• Diagnose and resolve end-user and technical problems in timely manner.
• Performing and/or assisting with installations and upgrades. (remotely or on-site)
• Clear, concise and confident verbal and written communication skills - must be fluent in English.
• Must be detail orientated, patient and work well under pressure
• Must have prior technical support experience.
• Candidate can work as part of team or on their own as required by the task.
• Competent in multitasking and juggling priorities.
• Understanding of all Microsoft Operating systems, computer networking and Internet Explorer.
• Perform QA software product testing for the CardioComm product line.
• Assist in the continued development and improvement of CardioComm products and procedures.
• Recording, tracking, and reviewing quality problems.
• Reviewing software requirements and design documents to support testing activities.
